Sizes vary slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer. The same is true for Pleaser brand footwear, which is produced primarily for the American market, the European numbering is only a recalculation of American sizes.
The manufacturer of the Pleaser USA footwear states the following size charts:

Shoe size measurement

1. Place the paper on the floor so that it fits snugly against the wall.
2. Stand with your feet perpendicular to the wall.
3. Use a pencil to mark the longest part of your foot (toe or forefinger).
4. Use a ruler to measure the length of the perpendicular from the edge of the paper to the note you draw.
5. Detected length indicates insole size (1).

How to choose the right size?

It is important that you stand still. The human body is asymmetric and each foot can have a different length, so measure both legs. Then choose the size of the shoes according to your size. When determining the size, it is advisable to have socks on your feet, which you usually wear or plan to wear in selected shoes. Always choose shoes a few millimeters larger. By allowing the toes in the shoe, you can prevent them from deforming.

The difference from the commonly purchased size should not be more than 1 size. This also applies if the man buys the shoes.

The length of the insole varies from model to model, for example due to the various shoe cuts, the pointed toe, etc.

In our experience with Pleaser USA, shoe sizes 35-41 correspond to the usual sizes and we register only a negligible number of returns due to incorrectly chosen shoe size.
Sizes 42 and larger are about ½ larger than the usual sizes, and we have a number of requests to exchange for a smaller size. Therefore, if you need to decide between 2 sizes, choose the smaller one.

Shoe width

Most Pleaser USA shoes are for normal foot width. However, we also offer some models in an expanded size. You know these as follows:

• Extended foot - The letter X at the end of the shoe name
• Extended calf - WC letters at the end of the shoe name ("Wider Calf")

Only choose these extended models if your foot is significantly wider than average.

Dimensions of boots

For all boots, we indicate the height of the boot (measured without the heel), the circumference of the calf, and for the boots above the knee, the circumference of the thigh.
This data will not appear until the desired color and size is selected, as they depend on the shoe size.

Heel and platform height

For all shoes, we indicate the height of the heel and possibly also the platform. This data will not appear until the desired color and size is selected, as they depend on the shoe size.

Please choose the height of the heels after careful consideration and according to your experience. The difference between the height of the heel and the platform is especially important. If you want higher heels, choose shoes with a higher platform at the same time.
If the difference between the height of the heel and the platform is more than 10 cm, walking in such shoes can be difficult.
If the difference is more than 13 cm, such shoes are not designed primarily for walking.
